A Rainy Day In The Mountains
For some, this heading could be the stuff of actual nightmares. Add the word Wedding in front of Day and suddenly we’ve entered full horror-movie territory. But for the cool, non-superstitious types (aka the ones who don’t flinch when a black cat crosses their path), a stormy day can actually be an opportunity. A chance to embrace the drama. To roll with the punches (and the thunderclaps) and end up with a day that’s less “Pinterest perfect” and more “can’t stop talking about it for years.”
Now, full disclosure: this wasn’t actually a real wedding. It was a styled shoot. Which technically makes it the worst-case scenario—rain, wind, chaos, but also the best-case, because the incredible vendors took the whole thing in their stride and spun it into pure moody magic. We’re talking raspberry-laden cakes that looked too pretty to eat, models so stylish they could’ve walked straight off a couture runway, and a venue tucked in the lush hills of Mount Tamborine that, if you squint (or sip enough Prosecco), could easily be mistaken for a Tuscan estate.
The result? Atmospheric, unforgettable, ridiculously photogenic. What do you think, romantic nightmare or dream day? Personally, I’m obsessed.
