A Portrait, a Hidden Message, and A Custom Font
Some weddings just have that energy, relaxed, fun, beautiful without trying too hard. That was exactly the vibe when Carissa & Josh got married at Fins Plantation.
The event was pieced together by the ever-talented Studio Monfleur, so it should come as no surprise that the whole day looked effortlessly stunning, with soft linen, lush florals, and those dreamy coastal tones that make you want to move in and stay forever.
These two were such a joy to create for. Monique (one of the best stylists in SEQ) engaged us to design their stationery and what an honour that was. They had this easy, playful energy that made the whole process feel creative and fun. We designed illustrations, worked with linen textures, and (because I clearly can’t help myself) I even turned my handwriting into their custom wedding font. A small detail, but one that made everything feel a bit more personal and a bit more them.
Carissa & Josh decided to write personalised messages for each guest in their placecards. Details like this make my heart truly sing, their guests will remember that gesture forever.
It all came together in the most beautiful way, thoughtful, stylish, and just the right amount of fun. What do you think?
